Due to essential maintenance work, Leisure World’s Leisure Pool will be closed from Monday 25 November until Thursday 5 December.
The work will include draining the pool to complete technical plant maintenance. During this time Leisure World will complete other works in the Leisure Pool, including resealing pool floors and redecorating some of the pool areas.
Cllr Theresa Higgins, Colchester Borough Council Portfolio Holder for Commercial Services, said: “The Leisure Pool is a much-loved attraction for Colchester. Thousands of families visit the pool yearly. The maintenance work will ensure that the pool will remain popular with families for years to come.
“Leisure World will also be taking this opportunity to redecorate areas of the pool, which will be noticeable to repeat customers.
“We thank all customers for their patience during this time.”
Aqua Springs will be open as normal during the maintenance works, and Leisure World will contact customers if their swimming lessons are cancelled.
