Councillor Julie Young, Portfolio Holder for Culture and Performance and Deputy Leader of the Council, said: “Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, which sees historic places across the country throw open their doors to celebrate their individual heritage, community and history.
“Colchester is packed full of sites of historic interest. I’d like to encourage as many people as possible to take advantage of the opportunity to gain access to these outstanding locations and celebrate what makes our town special.”
