Leisure World Colchester is excited to announce a bumper programme of kids' activities and aquatic fun for the summer holidays.
Wet ‘n Wild sessions activities include canoeing, personal survival Rookie Lifeguard, diving, snorkelling and water polo skills. Sessions run Tuesday 30 July to Friday 2 August (4 Sessions £24) or Monday 5 to Friday 9 August (5 sessions £30), 9-10am. Suitable for children 7+ years who can swim at least 10 metres on their front and back. Advance booking is essential by calling 01206 282000.
Intensive swimming courses are running from Tuesday 30 July to Friday 2 August. Stages 1 & 2: 9-9.30am or 9.30-10am (4 sessions £20) or Stage 3: 9-10am (4 sessions £24). Kids Camp, from 4 years old (must be 5 by 31 August 2019) can leap into action every weekday of the school holidays. With swimming, arts and crafts, dodgeball, giant inflatable, racket sports, football games and treasure hunts, they'll never have a dull moment. It’s a great option for flexible childcare: you can drop your kid(s) off from 9am-3pm for £27 or give them a full day of excitement from 8am-5.30pm for just £32. Base Camp, from 11 -15 years old. Each full day of fun from 8am-5.30pm includes swimming, games and lots of trips out, including Clacton Pier, Colchester Castle, Tenpin bowling and Ultimate Ninja. The Leisure Pool is open every day during the summer break, along with exciting flumes and outdoor rapids and our floating inflatable fun run sessions are the ideal way to keep the kids entertained and there’s no need to book – just turn up. Aqua Fun sessions are ideal for kids who enjoy swimming, they’ll take on the challenge of the inflatable floating fun run – an exciting watery obstacle course to run, slide, jump and climb through. Younger children who are non-swimmers or beginners can enjoy Aqua Splat sessions. With an inflatable submarine in the teaching pool, under-fives can burn off energy and make new friends while they play. There’s no need to book.
