The lift at Vineyard Street will be closed from 17 to 20 June, whilst repair works take place.
The repairs include adjusting the lift’s landing tracks and renewing the concrete. The lift will be unavailable for public use during this period to allow the concrete to fully set and harden.
Councillor Martin Goss, Portfolio Holder for Waste, Environment & Transportation, said: “It’s important that we carry out these works as part of essential maintenance and would encourage customers who use the lift to plan ahead and make other arrangements on these dates.”
