Colchester Museums are thrilled to announce that they have won a prestigious Hoop Award in the Best Holiday Activities category for its programme of children’s events across its three museums; Colchester Castle, Hollytrees Museum and the Natural History Museum.
The awards attracted over 100,000 votes from families across the UK to find the country’s favourite children’s activities.
This award recognises Colchester Museums for its commitment to try and inspire young visitors to its museums by instilling a love of history through fun, imaginative and rewarding sessions.
The Hoop website enables families to easily to find and book activities to keep children occupied from newborn to age 11 children, a valuable resource for busy families.
Colchester Museums’ activity programmes, help preserve Colchester’s heritage for future generations to come and make a Better Colchester for its residents and visitors.
