Information about Locality Budgets 2021-22

For 2021-22, all Colchester Borough Councillors are allotted a Locality Budget of £2000 each.

Councillors can use their budget to start or support community projects or services. The budgets can be used for projects within a Councillor’s Ward, or for projects or services which their constituents will benefit from.

Councillors welcome contact from community groups; if you have a project that would benefit from funding support, find contact details of your local Ward Councillors.

The deadline for 2021-22 Locality Budget applications is Monday 31 January 2022.

We provides a public record of all Locality Budget expenditure under ‘Council Spending’.

For any further information on the scheme, contact Keith Parker-Larkin on 07817 940632 or email Keith.Parker-Larkin@colchester.gov.uk
