On Thursday 6 May 2021 there will be a combination of local elections across Colchester.
This will include the two postponed elections from May 2020: the Borough election; and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner election.
These elections will run alongside the scheduled Essex County election. Some areas may also have parish elections, if they are contested.

Poll cards will be dispatched in early April.

Anyone interested in standing as a candidate for any election within Colchester is encouraged to register their interest by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. This will allow us to notify you of any candidate briefing sessions, which will likely be conducted via an online video meeting.
