It seeks views on proposals to alter building regulations for new residential buildings to include requirements for electric vehicle chargepoints, and for non-residential buildings to include requirements for electric vehicle chargepoint infrastructure.

It would also introduce a requirement for existing non-residential buildings to have electric vehicle chargepoints

This consultation from the Department for Transport and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles runs from 15 July to 7 October 2019.
