It seeks views on proposals on the design, delivery, awarding and maintenance of standards of Digital Functional Skills Qualifications, which form a part of the government’s plans to improve adult basic digital skills.

This consultation from OfQual, the examinations regulator, runs from 16 May to 26 July 2019.

In parallel with this consultation, the Department for Education is also consulting on Digital functional skills qualifications: subject content  to improve their relevance and content, and to build their recognition and credibility in the labour market. The DfE consultation asks questions on the proposed content for new digital functional skills qualifications. These will replace ICT functional skills qualifications from 2021.
