It seeks views on plans to introduce legislation for conservation covenants in England, allowing landowners to secure lasting conservation benefits. Conservation covenants would allow landowners to set legally binding obligations on their land for themselves and subsequent owners. 

This consultation from the Department for Food, Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) runs from 22 February to 22 March 2019.
