IN THIS ARTICLE

It seeks views on proposed changes to electoral law aimed at improving political debate, clarifying the electoral offence of undue influence and helping electors to make an informed decision at the ballot box.

It looks at whether the Government should consult on the introduction of a new offence in electoral law of intimidating Parliamentary candidates and party campaigners, and on extending electoral law requirements for an imprint on campaigning materials to electronic communications.

The consultation from the Cabinet Office runs from 29 July to 22 October 2018.
