There is a wide range of support available within Colchester. Businesses and organisations are offering free meals, as well as fun activities for children during the school holidays. Find businesses and organisations that are local to you by using the map or list below.

ActiveAte summer clubs
Active Essex is running FREE face to face clubs during the school holidays for children and young people who are eligible for benefits based free school meals.
Essex County Council is also extending the offer to provide a number of spaces for children and young people from working families who would benefit from additional financial support during the school holidays.
Each Essex ActivAte club will provide fun physical activity, a range of enrichment activities, nutritional education, a nutritious meal and support for the whole family. They are also working with specialist providers to deliver SEND provision and also mental wellbeing hubs across the county.
The Essex Youth Service and partners will deliver a service for secondary school-aged pupils.
- The BOAZ Project

- Colchester CAP
Colchester CAP offers help and support with debt and provides access to foodbank vouchers. Call them on 0800 328 0006 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Essex Integration
Essex Integration is a non-profit organisation that provides essential support services to newly arriving refugees and migrants accepted under the Home Office VPR scheme to Essex. Call 01206 861180 - option 2 to talk to an advisor if you need advice or food support.

- The Munch Club
The Munch Club is delivering food to those in need. Areas include Monkwick, Berechurch, Shrub End, Old Heath, Rowhedge, Hythe, Greenstead. Other areas will be considered if families are in urgent need.
- New Town Food Bank
New Town Food Bank at St Stephens Church on Canterbury Road in Colchester are open between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Mondays and 11am and 1pm on Thursdays for the collection of food parcels for those in need. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
