Report disrepair at a neighbouring property

You can report a neighbouring property that is harming your property or your health. For example, it may be in a state of disrepair or attracting pests.

You should first try to approach your neighbour in a friendly manner and explain your concerns. If no satisfactory action is taken within a reasonable time, you should consider contacting the landlord or agent if the property is being privately rented.

We will only investigate problems that are a statutory nuisance.

You cannot make an anonymous report to us. We will not share your name or contact details with the person you are reporting.

We will carry out an investigation and take action where possible. If we cannot take action, you may be able to take legal action yourself.
