Wivenhoe Town Council by-election

On Thursday 5 August 2021, there will be a by-election for Wivenhoe Town Council.

This is a stand-alone parish election for Wivenhoe Town Council only. It is to fill the three vacant seats.

The election follows receipt of more than the statutory ten requests for an election from registered local electors within the Wivenhoe Town Council area, during the notice period for the three most recently advertised Wivenhoe Town Councillor vacancies.

Poll cards

As this is a parish by-election, Wivenhoe Town Council has made the decision not to send poll cards. You do not need a poll card to vote.

Verification and count

All votes will be verified and counted overnight following the close of poll at 10pm on Thursday 5 August 2021.
