Councillor vacancies

Notice of casual vacancies the office of parish councillor for Myland Community Council. 

Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for Myland East Ward, of Myland Community Council, as Ellora Roy has resigned. 

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if request in writing for such an election is made by ten electors registered within the electoral area and received by the Proper Office of Colchester City Council, by no later than Thursday 2 April 2026. Otherwise, Myland Community Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
