Councillor vacancies

Notice of casual vacancy in the office of Parish Councillor for the Abberton Ward, of Abberton & Langenhoe Parish Council.

Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Robert Lenart has ceased to be a member and a casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for the Abberton Ward, of Abberton & Langenhoe Parish Council.

If by 19 April 2024 ten electors registered within the said council area request, in writing to the Proper officer of Colchester City Council, that an election is held to fill the said vacancy then an election will be held. Otherwise, Abberton & Langenhoe Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
