Notice of casual vacancy in the office of Councillor

Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that a casual vacancy exists in the office of Colchester City Councillor, Tiptree Ward.

To call an election a request must be made in writing to the Returning Officer at the address below by two electors within the principal local authority area.

On receipt of the request to fill the vacancy, the Returning Officer will set a date of an election to be held within 35 days.

Requests should be emailed to elections@colchester.gov.uk or delivered:

• by hand to Colchester Town Hall, High Street, Colchester, CO1 1PJ
• by post to Rowan House 33 Sheepen Road, Colchester, CO3 3WG
