Councillor vacancies

Notice is hereby given under Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 that casual vacancy exists in the office of Councillor for Langham Parish Council, as Sally Brockman is no longer a councillor.

An election to fill the vacancy will be held if request in writing for such an election is made by ten electors registered within the electoral area and received by the Proper Office of Colchester City Council, by no later than Thursday 18 December 2025. Otherwise, Langham Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
