Referendum on the adoption of the Neighbourhood Plan for Tiptree

A referendum will be held on Thursday 04 May 2023 to decide on the question below:

'Do you want Colchester City Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Tiptree to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’

  1. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 17 April 2023. Apply online
  2. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023.
  3. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25April 2023. Apply online
  4. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
  5. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer a by 5pm on Thursday 04 May 2023.
Applications to register to vote, for an absent vote, a Voter Authority Certificates or Anonymous Elector's Documents can be submitted by emailing elections@colchester.gov.uk or:
