Election of Councillor for the Parish of Dedham Council.

1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Town Hall, High Street, Colchester CO1 1PJ on any working day, Monday to Friday, from the date of this notice between 10 am and 4 pm, but no later than 4 pm on Friday 24 January 2025.
2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Town Hall, High Street, Colchester CO1 1PJ, during the times stated above. Nomination forms are also available online.
3. If any election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 20 February 2025.
4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by midnight on Tuesday 4 February. Applications can be made online.
5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5 pm on Wednesday 5 February. Further information about voting by post is available online.
6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5 pm on Wednesday 12 February. Applications can be made online.
7. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5 pm on Wednesday 12 February.
8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5 pm on Thursday 20 February.

Paper applications can be submitted in one of the following ways 

• By post to Rowan House, 33 Sheepen Road, Colchester CO3 3WG. 
• By hand delivery to Colchester Town Hall, High Street, Colchester CO1 1PJ.
