Election of Councillor for the Parish of Wivenhoe Town Council.

  1. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Town Hall, High Street, Colchester CO1 1PJ on any working day, Monday to Friday, from the date of this notice between 10 am and 4 pm but no later than 4 pm on Wednesday 30th April 2025.
  2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Town Hall, High Street, Colchester CO1 1PJ, during the times stated above. Nomination forms are also available online.
  3. If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 29 May.
  4. Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 12 May. Applications can be made online.
  5. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5 pm Tuesday 13 May. Further information about voting by post.
  6. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by Tuesday 20 May. Applications can be made online.
  7. Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by Tuesday 20 May.
  8. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer a by 5 pm Thursday 29 May.
