- Nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Town Hall, High Street, Colchester, CO1 1PJ, Monday to Friday, from Monday 27 March between 9.30am and 4.30pm - but no later than 4pm on Tuesday 04 April 2023.
- Nomination papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Town Hall, High Street, Colchester CO1 1PJ, during the times stated above. Nomination forms are available online
- If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 04 May 2023.
- Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Monday 17 April 2023. Register to vote
- Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023.
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023. Apply online
- Applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 25 April 2023.
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer a by 5pm on Thursday 04 May 2023.
