Support for Clinically Extremely Vulnerable people

Who this support is for

This support is for everyone living in the Colchester borough who has been identified as clinically extremely vulnerable. If you are in this group, you will receive a letter, text or email telling you this. You may have been advised to shield in the past.

How to get support

If you have received a letter, text or email, you will have been advised to register with the National Shielding System Service to get support and to contact us if you cannot access food.

We are working together with Community360 to support our most vulnerable residents and will be referring anyone who needs additional support to them.

If you need advice or support whilst you are self-isolating, for example with shopping or picking up prescriptions, contact Community360.
