Colchester Woodland Project

Planting trees in Colchester for now and the future.

Over the next five years, we plan to plant 200,000 trees across the borough as part of the Better Colchester campaign, helping to offset 32,000 tonnes of carbon in the lifetime of the trees! Trees and woodlands are a vital part of our eco-system, and we are committed to preserving them and helping them to flourish. This is at the very heart of the Colchester Woodland Project. We want to make our borough even greener, and we want to help our community know, love and use our woods and parks, and encourage all our residents to join us with tree planting.
