Closures, cancellations and suspended services

Visits to residents’ homes for housing enforcement purposes have been suspended for the foreseeable future.

 Officers will also not be making visits to Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMO) during this time. This includes visits for the purpose of processing HMO licence applications.

We may ask the person responsible for the HMO to submit photos or other evidence to assist us in progressing their licence application without the need for a visit.
 
We may ask residents who have asked for our help in connection with their housing conditions to send us photos to enable us to open an informal dialogue with the person responsible for the property.
 
We are currently unable to offer our paid for services at this time.
 
If you have a complaint about the condition of your property you can contact the Private Sector Housing team (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) and we will do our best to help you.
