Colchester City Council budget consultation
Help shape Colchester City Council’s budget for 2026/27
Have your say on how we spend your money.
We are inviting residents to share their views on spending priorities as part of our annual budget consultation, running from 11 November 2025 to 8 December 2025. The consultation will help inform the draft budget for the 2026/27 financial year.
Why your views matter
We aim to balance delivering essential services with investing in Colchester’s future. With increasing pressures on local government finances, it’s important for us to understand what matters most to you.
Your feedback helps shape decisions on how resources are allocated across key services, including:
-
Household recycling and waste collection
-
Parks and leisure facilities
-
Housing and homelessness support
-
Keeping our streets clean
-
Community safety
Please note: Essex County Council is responsible for services such as highways, education, and social care.
