Hilly Fields Local Nature Reserve Summer Insects and Butterflies Hunt

Join the Ranger and Colchester Natural History Society looking for butterfly and day-flying moth species as well as other grassland, heathland and tree insects, dragonflies and damselflies.  We hope to find and identify some of the digger wasps that like the free draining conditions of the reserve.  Bring any Field Guides, ID books or binoculars if you have them. Event is weather dependant, please wear appropriate footwear for rough ground.
