Lexden Springs Local Nature Reserve Flora Survey

This site is a hidden gem for wildlife. Join us to look at the spring plants and wildflowers. We will be looking at areas in the newly unfenced area to compare with the fenced meadow. Bring any Field Guides & ID books. 

Event is weather dependant, please wear appropriate footwear for rough ground.

Easter Trail

It’s the perfect time of year to get out and about in the woods and take part in our ‘High Woods in Numbers. Complete the trail and find out about the creatures that call High Woods home. 
Location: High Woods Country Park

Price:  £1, available from the Visitor Centre Wednesday - Sunday between 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Join the Education Rangers for a pond dipping session at High Woods Country Park. Discover what creatures hide under the surface and become a pond dipping expert.
Location: High Woods Country Park.  Meet outside the Visitor Centre.

Prices:  £6.20 per child pre-booking is essential

Bluebell trail – High Woods Country Park

Pick up a map from the Visitor Centre and find the best bluebell areas in the park to explore. It's the perfect time of year to take in this seasonal spectacle. The carpet of blue is a sight to behold along with the wonderful scent on the breeze! Maps available for only £1 at High Woods Visitor Centre.
