Disproportionate burden assessment for the Draft Recycling and Waste Strategy summary document

Scope

This is the two-page summary version of the full, thirty-page, strategy document. This is the document that most people will read to understand the strategy and consultation a little better, before taking part in the survey.

Benefits of creating an accessible version

The benefits of creating a HTML version of this PDF would be:

• a summary of the full document making the full strategy more accessible. This benefits users as it makes understanding the complicated strategy more understandable
• a fully accessible version for all users to access
• an easily searchable and indexable version

Burden placed on the organisation

It requires additional resource to create this document and place it onto the web page.

Contributing factors

• We will assist with accessible versions on request. 
• The web page already has almost all of the information that's in the summary document. 

Assessment

This will need to be provided as an additional PDF as it will make it easier for users to read and understand the full strategy.
