Leisure World skate park is a fairly large park made up of metal ramps on a tarmac base.  On one side is a large ramp and the rest of the skate park is laid out in a square shape with quarter pipes.  The centre contains a driveway, pyramid and a large fun box as well as some rails dotted around the course.

Location: Colchester Leisure World, Cowdray Avenue, Colchester, Co1 1YH

Boada Skate Park

Boada Skate Park is an all concrete own and opened in 2003.  The site includes a bowl and some street furniture.

Location: Shrub End Sport Ground, on the junction with Layer Road and Boadicea Way, Colchester, CO2 9BG.

How do I report a fault?

If you need to report any vandalism, fault or misuse please contact us on (01206) 282266.  Or email parks@colchester.gov.uk

Faults may include broken equipment, excess litter, and damaged surfaces for example.  Please give us as much detail about the faults that you have observed.

Consultation

Colchester Borough Council are interested to hear your views on how we can help improve the skate park areas; along with reducing antisocial behaviour.

We ask that you spare 5-10 minutes to share your concerns and experience with us through this short survey so we have a better understanding of the concerns you may have.

Skate Park Guardians Scheme

We are keen to hear from skate park users who maybe interested in becoming involved in helping us to develop a formal community group that will work with us in helping to maintain and manage the skate parks within the borough.

This could be by assisting with keeping the areas clean and free from rubbish, to supporting better communication with users and the council and assisting us to tackle issues.  Longer term the group maybe able to apply for funding to make improvements / alterations to the existing park with the support from the Council.
