Go home on the Nightrider - Your safe alternative journey home!

Date Published: 15 November 2006

Going out in town?

Go home on the Nightrider - Your safe alternative journey home!

After a great night out in Colchester, the Nightrider is your alternative way of getting home safely.

Leaving the town centre every half an hour from 11.45pm until 3.15am every Friday and Saturday, the bus, Service 999 follows a circular route taking in the Hythe for the University, Greenstead, St John's, Highwoods, Mile End and North station.

Tickets for the bus cost just £2.00 each, making it a very cheap way of getting home safely and quickly however a limited number of free tickets are available on Friday and Saturday nights for customers of the Hippodrome and Chicagos.
