Refresh to Colchester Borough Council websites

The Council and your information

Today Colchester Borough Council goes live with a new Content Management System (CMS) in support of the four CBC websites- www.colchester.gov.uk , www.colchesterleisureworld.co.uk, www.aqua-springs.co.uk and www.charter-hall.co.uk.

This project did not involve creating any new areas to the site or changes to the content that had not already been planned. The new CMS does however allow a higher level of accessibility built within an award winning CMS.

The switchover follows a tender process to replace the previous CMS product which was no longer being supported.

Whilst users will note a subtle change to the images in order to bring them in line with the overall corporate branding of the Council, the project was purely to move the content from one system to another.
