How to vote - in person, by proxy or post

When you've registered to vote and there's an election coming up, you'll receive a 'Polling card' showing your polling station. Polling stations are usually in schools, village halls or other sorts of public buildings.

If you'll have difficulty getting to your polling station, you can apply to vote by post or by proxy (when someone else casts your vote on your behalf).
