The Best Value Performance Plan was published each year until 2007.  It was a legal requirement, and its aim was to provide a picture of the Council’s past and present performance so that you can judge what we do. It also set out our plans and targets for the future.

The requirement to produce this Plan has now been removed by legislation so the 2007-2008 Plan was the last such publication.

A copy of the summary of the 2007-2008 Best Value Performance Plan was sent to every home in the borough during March 2007.

The Audit Commission carries out an independent review of the Best Value Performance Plan each year to make sure that it has been prepared and published in accordance with all relevant legislation and best practice.
