Colchester Community-Based Work Clubs

Colchester Borough Council is working together with local community partners to ensure that help is at hand for people looking for employment who do not need to be claiming benefit. The Work Clubs provide residents with the information they need about all the opportunities that are available to improve their skills and job prospects.

This free facility provides invaluable information and support, offering networking, interview skills, CV writing skills and job application tips.

People can choose their preferred weekly activity. Guest presentations and open forum opportunities will encourage club members to share their experiences in trying to find employment.

The Work Clubs offer:

  • help and advice with CVs, job applications, interview tips and techniques
  • networking, experience sharing and job seeking ideas designed to suit what you need
