New Money Saving Offer in Middleborough Car Park
Colchester Borough Council's award winning multi storey car parks now offer even more money saving deals with parking for £3.50 available in Middleborough.
Following the success of the great value parking options for town centre workers, shoppers and visitors in its other sites, Middleborough will be another ideal choice. The new special offer gives parking for only £3.50 between 6am and 6pm Monday to Saturday.
From Monday 18 February Middleborough will become another popular site for anyone wanting to park only minutes from the High Street's shops, banks and cafés, along with Head Street's cinema, bars and restaurants.
Visitors to Castle Park and workers in the offices, shops, schools and colleges in the North Hill and North Station Road areas will also be able to make use of the new money saving offer.
Customers using Middleborough for shorter stays of up to two hours will still only pay £2.90. Parking is only 50p between 6pm and 6am and low cost options are also available on Sundays.
The new offer, introduced in time for families enjoying half term in the town centre will be trialled over the coming months. Usage will be reviewed to inform any future decision on making it permanent alongside the Council's existing great value parking options.
Colchester Borough Council's Portfolio Holder for Street and Waste Services, Cllr Martin Hunt, said: "Having seen the popularity of the £3.50 offer in our award winning St John's and our flexible tariff in St Mary's car park I'm delighted to give customers even more choice with another similar offer in Middleborough. This new great value parking deal will benefit workers, shoppers and visitors to Colchester, and Middleborough customers can also make the most of hassle-free cashless parking with MiPermit available too."
