Neighbourhood Action Panels

Children at an event

NAPs are multi-agency problem solving groups, who bring together representatives from statutory agencies (such as Borough Council, Parish Council, Police) and local community groups, Councillors, community leaders, neighbourhood watch and residents associations to address local crime, anti-social behaviour and quality of life issues.

Each NAP serves to identify and achieve short, medium and sustainable long term solutions to local community needs and problems and to improve the quality of life for the local area.

From April 2013, NAPs have reformed inline with Colchester Borough Council Zones.  To find out what zone your NAP falls in please follow
