Countryside events for January

Date issued: 19 December 2017

It's time to recover from the Christmas chaos and be thankful for the little things in life, so why not come and see the beauty of Nature at this magical time of year, as the frost creates stunning crystalline sculptures.

Before you visit, why not download the High Woods Wildlife Trail app? It will add another dimension to any visit and was developed in association with the Colchester Natural History Society. It can be downloaded via Google Play.

High Woods Country Park Visitor Centre is open at weekends only. Saturday and Sunday opening times: 10.00am - 4pm until April. The park itself is open to the public at all times.
