October Half Term: Things to do at Leisure World

Don't get spooked by a dead October half term, get active at Leisure World this holiday.

October can be a month of changing weather, darker evenings and a nightmare of boring days with nothing to do. Leisure World Colchester can change all of that with its programme of fun activities, Leisure Pool extended opening hours and Fitness Pool fun. 

Your kids won't be stuck indoors wondering what might be lurking in your loft space or checking themselves for Dracula's bite marks this October, instead they'll be high in the air on the trampolines, swimming in the Leisure Pool or bouncing around in a bubble football.

Leisure World has a whole host of activities for children that are guaranteed to keep this October packed full of fun, howling with laughter and the chance to make new friends.

Kids Camp and Base Camp runs throughout the week, every day from Monday 23 to Friday 27 October and take place between 8am to 5:30pm, offering fun-filled activity depending on the day you book. Children will have the chance to spend time on the trampoline, take part in an inflatable challenge in the pool or even go on a trip to X-Treme Gaming. But these exciting activities and days out for your children aren't the only things on offer at Leisure World this October. The Leisure Pool will be open for extended times during the half-term so there's no chance you'll miss an opportunity for a dip. Aqua Fun sessions in the Fitness Pool will get you crawling, running, sliding and jumping to stay dry and beat your opponent. For under 5's why not check out Aqua Splat, a fun learning experience in the teaching pool that uses a small inflatable submarine to teach some valuable swimming skills in an thrilling environment.
