The Best of The Comedy Store comes to Charter Hall for the Colchester Comedy Festival

The Colchester Comedy Festival is teaming up with London's The Comedy Store to bring some of the hottest comedic talents in the UK to the Charter Hall. The Best of the Comedy Store, taking place on 20 October, will present a star-studded line up alongside special guest comedians in a night guaranteed keep audiences rolling in the aisles.

The fifth Colchester Comedy Festival will feature ten days of laugh-out loud comedy throughout October, with the Comedy Store performers taking to the Charter Hall stage for a one night only 18+ performance set to draw in a massive crowd.

Daliso Chaponda is a Malawian comedian most recently drawing national appeal after coming third in this year's Britain's Got Talent. As a host of his own stand-up comedy show on BBC Radio 4 and appearing on the stations When the Laughter Stops and The Now Show, he is no stranger to the stage and will be joining the Comedy Festival before he heads off on his 'What the African Said' 2018 Tour.

Jo Caulfield needs little introduction. Her sharp wit and sardonic quips have seen her become a regular on TV's Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow. Coming straight out of this summer's Edinburgh Festival with her 'Older, Wiser, Smarter, Meaner' show, her presence is already attracting much excitement.

Hal Cruttenden is a regular face on our television screens. He has appeared on The John Bishop Show, The Royal Variety Performance, Would I Lie To You? and even The Great British Bake Off. Hal is currently touring his show 'Straight out of Cruttenden.' The three headline acts will be joined by special guests that will be announced closer to the date of the performance.

The Noise Next Door are the U.K's premier improv comedy troupe and have taken the comedy world by storm. They leave audiences everywhere in awe of their lightning-quick wit and totally original comedic talents. They have been performing their own distinctive brand of off-the-cuff comedy together since they met at university.

Tom Stade has starred on BBC One's Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and The John Bishop Show. Sit back and enter the awesome and mischievous world of this Canadian comedy legend as he provides an inspiring and incisive antidote to the stresses of modern life.

The Best of The Comedy Store takes place at Charter Hall, Colchester on the 20 October 2017. Doors open at 18:30. The event is 18+ and I.D. may be required. Tickets: £23.50 plus a £1.50 Booking Fee. A bar will be available on the night serving a selection of drinks and refreshments.
