Milton Jones' Out There tour comes to Charter Hall

Date issued: 6 July 2017

Milton Jones, master of the absurdist one-liner, will be 'Out There', or more accurately, performing live at Charter Hall, Colchester, on Friday 2nd March, 2018.

The award-winning stand-up comedian, known for his scruffy hair, loud shirts and regular appearances on BBC2's Mock the Week, will be talking about his life so far - the ups, the downs and why buying his own see-saw was the best decision he ever made - while also holding up the mirror of truth to society, the media and fashion. Oh, and he apparently would like to be Prime Minister too!

Councillor Annie Feltham, Portfolio Holder for Commercial Services, commented: "I'm delighted to see Charter Hall will be welcoming Milton Jones on his 2018 tour. It's fabulous to know another big-name comedy act will be stopping off to entertain fans at our venue.

"With Jason Manford's 'Muddle Class' show taking place there in October 2018, and consecutive Jimmy Carr live shows in 2014 and 2015, Charter Hall is now placed well and truly on the comedy-tour map."

Tickets, which are £26.00 plus booking fee, are now on sale at www.colchester-events.co.uk/whats-on or the Charter Hall box office on 01206 282020. Doors open at 7pm, and a rolling bar will be available.
