Braiswick Primary School Competition

The Zone Wardens of Colchester Borough Council (CBC) have recently ran a competition with Braiswick Primary School aimed at increasing people's awareness of littering, dog fouling and speeding in the local area.

Lots of children submitted posters and it was a truly difficult task deciding upon the winners. A Zone warden attended a school assembly and the winners and runners up were announced. Copies will be made of these posters and displayed at suitable locations across the Ward.

Headteacher Lorraine Laudrum said 'We wanted to involve the children in this competition to encourage them to consider community issues and how they might be resolved. We are very proud of the children for giving the issues such careful consideration and for being so creative'.

A very well done to all of the children who entered the competition.
