QV Ventulus (Jewson's Riverside site)

This is a mixed use development comprising 221 residential units, commercial units and a pedestrian / cycle bridge which has been installed across the River Colne to improve links between new development and existing communities.

King Edward Quay Maltings

This first phase of a new riverside development is complete and is part of a development which will comprise more than 700 student apartments, retail and new public park with access onto the quay.

Colne View

Colne View was short listed for a top Housing Design Award for it's urban design, the 'feel' of the proposed streets and the use of trees to create avenues. The judges also liked the idea of 'strong' ground floors to the buildings, some of which contain retail space, and the fact that many properties boast personal outdoor space, in the form of balconies and gardens.

Colne Reach

Colne Reach was designed to create a traditional streetscape with an attractive central square. The development includes 4 retail units, nursery and children's play area which was designed with local people. Click here for more information on employment and job creation in East Colchester..
